I have always felt creative and artistic and enjoyed expressing it throughout my adolescence. Following high school, I studied architecture in Milwaukee. After exhausting my pursuit of architecture, I became interested in graphic design and the design process of websites and print layouts. I graduated from Madison College and began working at an ad agency from the Madison, WI area where I gained a lot of experience working on website and digital design, along with the more traditional forms of design and graphics. This included everything from business cards and mailers that reached thousands to billboards displayed throughout the Madison area including on the Highway 12 Beltline.
I have done freelance design work for several local (Sauk County, WI area) establishments, as well as taking on a few projects for a regional marketing group. These projects have ranged from single digital and print documents to laying out a complete style guide for brand standards. Along with the freelance work, are some volunteer design work that I have done. Volunteer work has ranged from creating an identity, branding, and promoting for a local rodeo, to creating an identity and branding for a local community collaboration effort, to cofounding a disc golf club and designing/promoting many aspects needed for the clubs' success.
